METHOD FOR ELIMINATING EYEBROW PTOSIS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves marking incision line along natural tarsal fold of upper eyelid. Skin is cut from internal to external angle along the marked line. Soft tissues are laminated under orbicular muscle, above eyebrow under frontal belly of muscular epicranial aponeurosis along periosteum to the middle of front height. The eyebrow is shifted upwards into required position and fixed to the periosteum at the highest point along the upper edge with external U-shaped suture. EFFECT: improved cosmetic results; prevented ptosis recurrence. 1 dwg
