FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for chromium plating of a surface from structural alloyed steel. Chromium-containing coating is applied on the surface of said substrate and said substrate with coating is heated. Said chromium-containing coating contains 50 wt.% of ammonium salt of 2-monoethanolamine and acetic acid, 25 wt.% of T-900 soot and 25 wt.% of chromium oxide Cr2O3. Said heating is carried out at temperature of 950–1,325 °C with holding for 4.5–9.5 minutes.
EFFECT: higher quality of applied coating and efficiency of its formation.
