METHOD OF DOUBLE STIMULATION OF OVARIES IN IVF PROGRAM Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61B17/425 A61K38/24 A61P15/08

Abstract RU 2820308 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to obstetrics and gynaecology, reproductology, and can be used in double ovarian stimulation in an IVF program. Method involves two ovarian stimulations in follicular and luteal phases with gonadotropins and two ovarian punctures in patients with low ovarian reserve. Stimulation is carried out with a background of low doses of a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist 0.03–0.05 mg/ml from 2nd day of the menstrual cycle, follicle growth is monitored by ultrasonic scanning, in the presence of follicles with diameter of 18–19 mm, an ovulation trigger, that is human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is introduced. Oocytes are taken 36 hours after its introduction, from the next day after the first puncture and extraction of oocytes, a second, identical to the first, stimulation is started, when the diameter of follicles is 18–19 mm, an ovulation trigger, that is hCG is introduced and repeated oocytes are sampled in 36 hours.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables to achieve an increase in the probability of pregnancy by obtaining a larger number of mature oocytes and embryos in patients with reduced ovarian reserve and poor prognostic response to stimulation.
