FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic control of water level in hydroelectric power station reservoir. Technical result is achieved due to the fact that readings are taken from water level sensors in the upper and lower pays of the reservoir, air temperature sensors, precipitation level, level of snow cover, moisture content of soils, depth of freezing, evaporation of water, flow rate of inflow, water consumption, located on both sides of the dam of the reservoir. After that, the data are sent to the computer for calculating the mean-square value of the rate of change of the water level in the reservoir, required time and opening angle of the spillway gate and a command is sent to open/close the spillway gate by means of an electric drive.
EFFECT: improving smoothness and accuracy of water flow rate and water consumption control.
