FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to experimental medicine, namely to pathological anatomy, oncology and veterinary science. After inhalation anaesthesia, the surgical field is treated twice with 0.5% vol. alcohol solution of chlorhexidine bigluconate. Needle with a fixed mandrin intended for trepanobiopsy is inserted into the analysed tissue area of the animal up to the limiter. Mandrin is retracted from retainer groove by 1.5–2 cm. Tissue of the investigated area is pressed with the thumb of the free hand to the needle, while the hand holding the needle begins to rotate so that the tissue is cut by the edge of the needle. Needle is removed in such a way that a tissue column is left in the area of the needle head, histotopographically corresponding to the layers of the investigated area. Haemostasis is performed in the area of intervention and an aseptic dressing is applied.
EFFECT: method provides preservation of viability of an individual and possibility of repeated serial biopsies, makes it possible to assess dynamics of pathological process in separate individuals during unlimited time of experiment.
