FIELD: medicine; orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: pneumoorthesis for correction of keeled chest deformation, consisting of 2 aluminum semi-rings connected by aluminum loops on one side and Velcro strap on the other, pneumatic cushions configured to press on the chest, completely covering the deformation of the anterior chest wall, an electronic pressure system, including a microcontroller, a pressure sensor, micropump and transistor switch. 2 shoulder straps are attached to the front and rear semi-rings, a fabric pocket on the support plate is fixed on the front semi-ring, which has a compartment for an air cushion, compartment for electronic pressure system, compartment for power supply. Pressure sensor is located inside the air cushion with the possibility of transmitting the current pressure value inside the air cushion to the microcontroller. Microcontroller has the possibility of sending an electric signal to open the transistor switch, and the latter, in its turn, has the possibility of closing the micropump circuit. Micropump is supplied through outputs on the microcontroller. When the specified value of pressure in the pneumatic cushion is reached, an electric signal is sent to the transistor switch, as a result of which the power supply circuit of the micro pump is opened and the pumping process is stopped. In parallel with the pressure control, the microcontroller board can be connected to the Internet via the built-in Wi-Fi module, which makes it possible to monitor pressure by means of a chat bot in Telegram in real time.
EFFECT: invention provides exposure on the protruding part of the chest, with controlled load for prevention of skin complications and the ability to perform a sufficient correction to correct the deformation and optimize the possibility of conservative treatment to improve the comfort of the doctor and the patient.
