SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering, in particular to coaxial lines. Coaxial line, including a regular section having an outer electrode diameter exceeding the axial spatial dimension of the electromagnetic pulse generated in the line, and two conical sections, which are transitions to input and output coaxial paths, characterized by that in points of joint of regular and conical sections of coaxial line two built-in lens correctors are installed, which are made of dielectric material with low dielectric losses and have one flat surface and another surface facing the regular section of the line in the form of a part of a sphere with a finite radius of curvature, wherein the maximum diameter of the lens correctors is equal to the inner diameter of the outer electrode of the coaxial line on the regular section, and inner electrode of coaxial line passes through axial hole of each lens corrector, wherein the diameter of the axial hole of the lens corrector is equal to the diameter of the inner electrode of the coaxial line on the regular section.

EFFECT: providing formation and passage of ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulses in the form of quasi-transverse electromagnetic waves through plasma which simulates the ionosphere and the ionized atmosphere of the Earth.
