FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a variant of a protein which exports O-phosphoserine (OPS), and can be used to obtain O-phosphoserine, cysteine, and cysteine derivatives in Escherichia coli. Disclosed is a polypeptide having an OPS-exporting activity and containing SEQ ID NO: 1 or an amino acid sequence identical to it by 90% or more, which contains a) replacement of isoleucine (I) in position corresponding to 241 in SEQ ID NO: 11, with threonine, replacement of aspartic acid in position corresponding to 246 in SEQ ID NO: 11, to valine and replacement of valine in position corresponding to 330 in SEQ ID NO: 11, to isoleucine and has b) phenylalanine at position corresponding to 88, and c) lysine at position corresponding to 207.
EFFECT: invention provides higher OPS output in cells of Escherichia coli - producer of OPS.
