SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a polypeptide involved in producing O-phosphoserine, wherein the amino acid corresponding to position 125 in the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 is replaced with isoleucine. Also disclosed is a polynucleotide coding said polypeptide, a recombinant microorganism of the genus Escherichia for producing O-phosphoserine, containing said polypeptide or polynucleotide. Also disclosed are methods of producing O-phosphoserine, cysteine or a cysteine derivative using said microorganism, and the use of said polypeptide for producing O-phosphoserine, for excreting O-phosphoserine from a microorganism, for producing cysteine or for producing a cysteine derivative.
