FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy and foundry, in particular to devices for mechanical kneading of dispersed reinforcing particles into metal melt, and can be used in metallurgical and foundry shops. Impeller for mixing reinforcing particles into aluminium melt contains four blades (3) fixed on vertical shaft (1) driven by electric motor, shaft (1) is equipped with three cylinders (2, 4) and nut (5), wherein two cylinders (2) are located above blades (3), so that the upper end of first cylinder (2) is at the level of the melt surface, third cylinder (4) is located between blades (3), providing their two-level position, nut (5) is located on the end surface of lower blades (3), wherein nut (5), lower blades (3), third cylinder (4) and upper blades (3) are connected to shaft (1) by means of fastening screw (6), wherein cylinders (2, 4), blades (3) and nut (5) are made of a mixture of electrocorundum and aluminium phosphate, taken in weight ratio of 9:1, and annealed at temperature of 1,000 °C.
