FIELD: biotechnology; agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural biotechnology and can be used in the technology of producing winter wheat dihaploids. Invention represents modified compositions of nutrient media for producing dihaploid plants of winter soft wheat from cultivated anthers in vitro at the stages of embryogenesis induction in anthers and plant regeneration. Obtaining haploids is of great importance for selection, since in such forms it is easier to detect and select valuable mutations, and doubling the chromosome set with colchicine, it is possible to obtain dihaploids – diploid plants with completely homozygous set of chromosomes. Success of obtaining haploids depends not only on physical conditions of growth, but also on composition of nutrient media, in which anthers and regenerant plants are grown.
EFFECT: these methods make it possible to reduce the time for obtaining new varieties of wheat.
