SUBSTANCE: aerosol delivery device comprises a battery support that contains a main section defining a longitudinal axis, a first end section located at the first end of the main section along the longitudinal axis, and a second end section located at the second end of the main section along the longitudinal axis. The first and second end sections extend from the first side of the main section in the first direction, which is essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The device further comprises a battery that is supported between the first and second end sections, and a heating unit that contains an inductor. The device further comprises a printed circuit board (PCB), which is coupled to the second side of the main section and is located between the main section and the heating unit, while the ends of the inductor are connected to the PCB.
