FIELD: medicine; geriatrics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the risk of cognitive impairment in long-livers. Blood is taken from the patient for whole genome sequencing, detection of the presence of polymorphisms in genes APOE, APOC1, TOMM40, ATP8B1, DKK3, SV2C, GRIK3 and intergenic sites. Alleles of risk of cognitive disorders in long-liver are detected and summed up with coefficients from table 2. If the derived value is less than 0.5, the absence of cognitive impairment is predicted. If the derived value is more than 0.5, the development of cognitive disorders is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of predicting the risk of developing cognitive disorders in long-livers by using a polygenic risk scale based on 45 polymorphisms in genes APOE, APOC1, TOMM40, ATP8B1, DKK3, SV2C, GRIK3 and intergenic sites.
