SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plain bearings, and can be used in units of mechanisms of machines, rotary machines, which are subject to increased requirements for reliability of support unit. In an intelligent plain bearing comprising a housing and a sleeve bearing arranged therein, made of an antifriction material, at least one wear indicator is fixed in the sliding bearing, the insulated part of which is recessed into the sliding bearing by a value equal to the initial wear, working surface temperature sensor is installed in the sliding bearing, the sliding bearing temperature sensor, the lubricant temperature sensor, the pressure sensor and the vibration sensor are installed in the housing, between the bearing housing and the plain bearing there is a position sensor, inside the plain bearing there is a shaft connected through a coupling to the propulsor, space inside the housing and the gaps between the sliding bearing and the shaft are filled with a lubricant, a rotation frequency sensor is fixed on the housing of the sliding bearing, all sensors and propulsor are connected to electronic unit for collection, processing and control of signals, which is equipped with a unit with software on a pre-trained neural network, which is connected by direct and feedback to an information input and display device.

EFFECT: increased information content of the state of the sliding bearing assembly during the whole service life, which will make it possible to predict the service life of the assembly or unit, which includes this sliding support.
