FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of an accelerated method of laboratory research for determination of weight fraction of fractions of tobacco raw materials in non-smoking tobacco products for oral consumption in order to identify them. Method involves taking a total sample of 400 g consisting of individual portion packages with the product. Preparation of a laboratory sample of 100 g by opening individual portion packages immediately before testing and removing the contents into a sample container. Accurate mixing, sampling of two test samples with weight of (20±1) g each, sieving for (60±5) s, weighing of fractions with accuracy of up to 0.01 g, determination of weight fraction of fractions in analyzed sample of chewing/sucking tobacco.
EFFECT: reduced duration of laboratory analysis due to reduced weight of laboratory sample for analysis and reduced time for sample preparation.
