FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to circulating refining of molten steel. Method includes a step of refining molten steel in a ladle using a vacuum apparatus RH, in which, at the refining stage, the surface of the molten steel circulating in the vacuum apparatus RH is subjected to plasma treatment by exposure to hydrogen gas or an inert gas containing hydrogen gas in the form of a plasma gas, under conditions which satisfy formula (1) to reduce content of one, two or more elements selected from oxygen, nitrogen and sulphur contained in molten steel. In formula Gp × (H2)/Q ≥ 0,1 (1), GP is the plasma-forming gas flow rate (nm3/min), (H2) is the hydrogen gas concentration (vol.%) in the plasma-forming gas, Q is flow rate of circulating gas (ton/min) of molten steel circulating in vacuum chamber.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain molten steel with a smaller amount of impurities due to acceleration of refining reactions, such as deoxidation, denitrification and desulphurisation, with action of hydrogen plasma on molten steel.
