SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for automatic control of supply of flocculants into thickeners and can be used at enterprises for processing mineral raw materials. System for automatic dosing of flocculants in the process of thickening of concentration products includes a unit for controlling the rate of deposition of particles of solid, comprising a measuring cuvette and an information processing unit, a control unit and shutoff and control valves for sampling, feeding material into the measuring cuvette, washing the measuring cuvette and feeding a flocculant into the process, storage tank and shut-off valves for the cleaning solution supply to the measuring cuvette, the material level sensor in the measuring cuvette, the overflow discharge valve from the measuring cuvette to the drainage, an extreme regulator, bleeding system, including vacuum ejector, compressed air supply valves and compressed air supply line connection with atmosphere, pipelines for supplying water for flushing and cleaning solution contain nozzles located tangentially to inner surface of measuring cuvette, wherein solid particles sedimentation rate control unit comprises digital video camera and illumination unit, wherein the control unit input is connected to the information processing unit output, the control unit first output is connected to the sampling valve, the second output is connected to the cleaning solution supply valve, third outlet is connected to the flushing water supply valve, the fourth outlet is connected to the compressed air supply valve, the fifth outlet is connected to the compressed air supply line communication valve with the atmosphere, the sixth outlet is connected to the overflow valve from the measuring cuvette to the drainage, seventh and eighth outputs are connected to the control inputs of the digital video camera and the backlight unit, respectively, the ninth output is connected to the measuring input of the extreme controller, and the output of the extreme controller is connected to the control input of the actuator for feeding the flocculant into the process.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of flocculants due to increased accuracy of sedimentation rate control and improved quality of control.
