Total microRNA is recovered from blood serum. Expression of siRNA-146b is determined. If the level of siRNA-146b expression in blood serum exceeds 1.08, the development of a recurrence of the disease is predicted in the next two years after the radical surgical intervention.
EFFECT: method enables predicting the development of recurrent thyroid cancer in the next two years after the radical surgical intervention by determining the level of siRNA-146b expression in blood serum.
