FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed are artificial sputum analogues (versions) for simulating the states of respiratory obstruction in animals in vivo and chemical-biological laboratory studies in vitro, which are aqueous solutions, containing the following ingredients per 100 ml of the solution in a wt.% ratio: sodium alginate 0.5 or sodium alginate from 0.5 to 1.5; potato starch 2.0 or potato starch 0; edible gelatine 1.0 or bovine serum albumin from 0.2 to 1.0; chemically pure sodium chloride 0.9 or chemically pure sodium chloride 0.5 to 0.9; distilled water—balance; wherein sodium hydroxide is added in an effective amount to ensure the acidity level of the solution with pH from 5.6 to 8.2.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides producing an artificial sputum analogue close in physical and chemical properties to natural sputum, suitable for modeling biofeedback in vivo, as well as for conducting experiments with sputum in vitro.
