FIELD: measurement technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement of concentration of impurities by light adsorption. Disclosed is a method for measuring concentration of components in a sample, comprising the following steps: passing light through the sample from a first light source to a first light-sensitive element; measuring a first intensity of light received by the first light-sensitive element; passing light through the sample from the second light source to the second light-sensitive element at a first light intensity; measuring a second intensity of light received by the second photosensitive element; determining the adsorption level based on the difference in intensity of light emitted by the first light source and the second light intensity; and calculating the concentration of components in the sample based on the adsorption level and the total optical path length of the light passing between the first light source and the light-sensitive element and the second light source and the light-sensitive element.

EFFECT: invention enables to achieve the required length of the optical path.
