SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery and orthopaedics, and can be used for treating a reverse Hill-Sachs fracture with a defect of the head of humerus of up to 25% of the articular surface. Method involves deltopectoral approach, open reduction of the humeral head, mobilization of the tendon of the long head of the biceps muscle. Tendon of the long head of the biceps muscle is moved to the zone of impression of the head of the humerus. Proximal part of the tendon of the long head, extending from the attachment point, is pulled and fixed at the upper pole of the impression with an anchor retainer, and the distal portion of the tendon of the long head of the biceps muscle is pulled in the opposite direction and also fixed with an anchor retainer at the lower pole of the defect, filling the zone of the impression defect of the head of humerus with the tendon.

EFFECT: method provides higher efficiency of surgical treatment due to restoration of sphericity of humeral head as a result of defect filling with corrugated tendon and stabilization of humeral head, and tension of the tendon of the long head of the biceps from the attachment point to fixation with the anchor retainer.
