FIELD: chemistry; pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to chemistry and pharmaceutical industry, namely: to a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting the AMPA receptor; to a method for production thereof; to an aqueous pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting the AMPA receptor for intravenous administration; to a drug preparation for inhibiting the AMPA receptor for intravenous administration to a subject; as well as to a method of treating epilepsy. Proposed pharmaceutical formulation contains a solubilising agent representing sulphobutyl ether β-cyclodextrin, and a therapeutically effective amount of perampanel or a hydrate thereof, wherein the molar ratio of said ingredients in composition is 28–108 moles of sulphobutyl ether β-cyclodextrin per 1 mole of perampanel.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides pharmaceutical formulations which are stable during storage, and a drug which is also stable during administration.
