Peripheral section may contain a composite material containing an energy-absorbing component and a plurality of expandable components. Optical section can be configured to change the base optical power under the action of external energy directed to the composite material.

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions enables post-implantation adjustment of the IOL without the need for additional surgical intervention.
