SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to industrial gardening and viticulture. Composition contains preliminarily heat-treated vegetable oil with initial iodine number of not less than 115 in amount of 90–96 wt.pts. by initial oil, oil-dispersible manganese and/or cobalt compounds in amount of 1–5 wt.pts. and a surfactant selected from a number of oxyethylated mono- and di-alkylphenols in amount of 3–9 wt.pts. Method involves thermal treatment with continuous stirring of 90–96 wt.pts. vegetable oil with initial iodine number of not less than 115 with gradual temperature increase for 0.5–1.5 hours to 150–170 °C. Holding at this temperature for 3–5 hours, adding 1–5 wt.pts. oil-dispersible manganese and/or cobalt compounds, gradual temperature increase for 0.5–1.5 hours to 200–280 °C, holding at this temperature for 3–5 hours. Stirring is stopped and cooled to room temperature. Obtained intermediate product is filtered and further mixed with 3–9 wt.pts. surfactant selected from a number of oxyethylated mono- and di-alkylphenols.

EFFECT: inventions provide effective protection against cracking of fruits and berries with lower consumption rates of the preparation.
