FIELD: various technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a protective coating on the surface of a part of power engineering. Air is evacuated from the vacuum chamber. Then, surface of said part and vacuum chamber are cleaned by non-self-sustained high-current diffusion discharge in medium of inert gas. Plasma generator is used to preheat said part and clean it with titanium ions. Modification of the surface layer of said part is carried out by ion-plasma cementation in the medium of a reaction gas in the form of acetylene with the effect of a non-self-sustained high-current diffusion discharge and discharge with effect of hollow cathode, formed between optically transparent grid and said part, distance between which is 7 mm. Coating is formed by physical vapour deposition by synthesis of nanostructured coating of Ti-C-Si system using titanium and graphite-silicon cathodes with simultaneous assistance by non-self-sustained high-current diffusion discharge and exposure to a discharge with a hollow cathode effect formed between optically transparent mesh and said part, distance between which is 7 mm.
EFFECT: improved operational and physical and mechanical characteristics of parts of power engineering.
