FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices simulating the tobacco smoking process. Aerosol generating device with insulating structure is a gripping portable device for generating microparticles having a cavity, in which a smoking article can be inserted, including an aerosol-forming substrate inside and wrapped with wrapping paper outside. Aerosol generating device includes a case that forms an appearance, an excitation coil installed inside the housing and wound several times. Susceptor from metal material is made inside the excitation coil so that to be enclosed by the excitation coil inside the housing, the latter consists of a hollow cylindrical thin sheet forming a cavity and heated by induction heating caused by eddy current losses during interaction with the excitation coil. Support is made inside the housing and supports at least part of one or more susceptors and the excitation coil. First layer of air insulation is formed between the susceptor and the support. Second layer of air insulation is formed between the excitation coil and the housing. When the body, the susceptor and the support are attached, the connected parts are tightly sealed to each other by means of adhesion, tape, sealing element or forced fit.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of the battery and prevention of radiant heat transfer to the excitation coil.
