SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for combined osteosynthesis, combining intramedullary blocked osteosynthesis with external fixation apparatus, and can be used in treating bone fractures in animals. Set of parts for combined osteosynthesis in dogs and cats contains a smooth intramedullary rod with diameter of 4÷10 mm with a rounded distal end for insertion into a bone canal and with three locking threaded holes spaced along both ends of the rod. Kit includes locking pins, an intramedullary rod holder consisting of an intramedullary rod and a body with an internal smooth through channel, a drill sleeve, metal supports from titanium, stainless steel and carbon supports, connecting monoblocks. Set of intramedullary rods is supplemented with rods with diameter of 2÷3.5 mm and on all rods axes of one locking threaded hole are offset relative to axes of a pair of two adjacent holes by an angle of not more than 45°. Intramedullary rods with diameter of 4÷10 mm have an internal threaded blind hole and a lock connection element on the end face. Intramedullary rod holder is supplemented with a set of adapters with an internal axial smooth hole and the possibility of coaxial placement in the channel of the holder body. For intramedullary rods with diameter of 4÷10 mm, one end of the adapter is intended for coaxial placement in the channel of the holder body, and the other end of the adapter with the lock connection element on the end is intended for connection with the intramedullary rod, and for a holder of intramedullary rods with diameter of 2÷3.5 mm in an adapter with a slot on a side wall, an intramedullary rod is installed. In addition, the kit includes a bone guide drill, a metal support with a one-sided flat, detachable clamp in the form of two drop-shaped planks with a slot and through smooth holes located on both sides of the slot, and a flat longitudinal cut above the hole on the outer side of one of the planks. Head of the fastening bolt is made equal to the height of the flat cut of the plank. Set also includes positioning plates with a longitudinal slot and a base on one end of the plate, in which there is a smooth through hole perpendicular to the axis of the plank to enable movement along the support, and a through threaded hole is made on the end of the base.
EFFECT: reliability, strength and stability of fixation of fragments, possibility of closed intramedullary blocked osteosynthesis for dogs and cats weighing from 1 to 1.5 kg, possibility of using parts of the set for combined osteosynthesis, which combines closed intramedullary locked osteosynthesis with external fixation apparatus.
