FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of current pulse shaping equipment, in particular to devices for supply of pumping sources of pulsed solid-state lasers with the storage capacitor discharge. Pulse current generator is made in the form of a closed circuit consisting of series-connected storage capacitor, throttle, a pumping radiation source, a transistor switch with a control circuit and a current sensor, as well as a damping diode connected in parallel to the throttle and the pumping radiation source. Throttle and pumping radiation source with damping diode are connected between output of transistor switch and high-voltage electrode of storage capacitor, another output of the transistor switch is connected to the current sensor contact, the second contact of which is connected to the second electrode of the storage capacitor, and the control circuit includes a control pulse generator and a threshold device connected at its signal input to the current sensor, and at the output to the control pulse generator connected to the input of the transistor switch. Device includes a second transistor switch connected in parallel to the damping diode, control pulse generator includes first and second delay circuits, respectively, connected to first and second transistor switch, wherein the second switch unlocking delay corresponds to the damping diode unlocking time when the first switch is closed, second switch locking delay corresponds to current reduction time in inductive circuit to specified lower level, and delay of unlocking the first key switch after switching off the second one corresponds to the time of recovery of the locked state of the second switch.

EFFECT: reduction of power consumption and reduction of weight and size parameters of the current pulse generator with higher efficiency of pumping and higher reliability.
