SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to a method for detecting alcohol and an apparatus for detecting alcohol. Method involves intake of gas exhaled by a person being tested from a gas channel. Method involves measurement of alcohol content in gas according to the gas exhaled by the person being tested from the gas channel. Method involves obtaining a value of alcohol concentration in the gas according to the measured alcohol content in the gas. Method involves calculating the output value of alcohol concentration in the body of the person being tested according to the value of alcohol concentration in the gas. Method involves, after obtaining the alcohol concentration in the gas according to the measured alcohol content in the gas, measuring the gas pressure in the expired gas and determining the range of gas pressure values when the gas pressure value in the exhaled gas is greater than or equal to the first threshold value. Method comprises adjusting the alcohol concentration in the gas when the expired gas pressure value is greater than or equal to a first threshold value and less than or equal to a second threshold value, and outputting the corrected value as the alcohol concentration value. Method involves outputting the alcohol concentration in the gas as the alcohol concentration when the gas pressure in the expired gas is greater than a second threshold value. Device has an output unit configured to calculate the output value of alcohol concentration in the body of the person being tested according to the value of alcohol concentration in the gas. Device has a starting gas pressure measuring unit configured to measure the gas pressure value in the expired gas and determine the gas pressure value range, when the gas pressure in the exhaled gas is greater than or equal to the first threshold value. Concentration calculation unit comprises a concentration correction unit configured to correct the alcohol concentration value in the gas when the gas pressure value in the exhaled gas is greater than or equal to the first threshold value and is less than or equal to the second threshold value and outputting the corrected value as the alcohol concentration value. Concentration calculation unit has a direct concentration calculation unit configured to output the alcohol concentration value in the gas as the alcohol concentration value, when the gas pressure in the exhaled gas is greater than the second threshold value. Concentration calculation unit includes a correction calculation unit.
EFFECT: providing a method and a device for detecting alcohol, aimed at providing a method for convenient measurement of alcohol concentration for rapid measurement of alcohol concentration in exhaled gas for testing.
