FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to biosensor analytical devices, and can be used for continuous minimally invasive determination of blood glucose. Electrode system for a device for quantitative analysis of blood glucose contains a reference electrode, an auxiliary electrode and a working electrode, surface of which is modified with a composite material containing a matrix with chitosan covalently bound to an electron transport mediator, and glucose oxidase enzyme inclusions arranged in said matrix. Matrix of the composite material is based on chitosan. Surface of the working electrode with the composite material is coated with a protective diffusion membrane. Electrode system can be placed subcutaneously.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of minimally invasive continuous determination of blood glucose concentrations in range from 1.5 to 48 mM.
