FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine and can be applied for supply of energy to patient's target zone. Electrosurgical probe is placed in immediate vicinity of target zone. Phase-controlled radio-frequency (RF) energy is supplied on electrosurgical probe, which contains at least two electrodes. Phases of RF energy, supplied to each of electrodes of electrosurgical probe, are controlled in such a way that in the area of tissue between electrodes currents, in fact perpendicular to target zone surface, are created and tissue temperature in the area of tissue between electrodes increases in non-uniform way. Electrosurgical system contains means for application of RF energy to patient's target zone, generator, containing first and second sources of RF energy or RF energy source containing first and second RF outlets, means of controlling phase between RF energy, supplied by first source of RF energy, and RF energy, supplied by second source of RF energy, or phase between RF energy, supplied by first RF outlet and RF energy, supplied by second RF outlet.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to regulate depth and amount of affected tissue.
