FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for removal of ice from eaves of roofs of buildings. Device for removing ice from eaves of roofs includes a source of mechanical pulses with a unit for its attachment to the building and an elastic element located along the eaves of the roof, connected to a mechanical pulse source, made in the form of a flat coil of eddy currents and equipped with a pulse current generator electrically connected to the coil. Between the coil of eddy currents and the rod there is a plate made of material of high electroconductivity. Device is additionally equipped with an electromagnet and a switching element, wherein the rod is made of ferromagnetic material.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability of the device.
