FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery, and can be used for carotid endarterectomy. During the operation, the external carotid and superior thyroid arteries are clamped with an L-shaped vascular clamp, after which the clamp”Цапка” is placed on top of the first clamp. Further, along the upper edge of the wound behind the first clamp clamping the external carotid artery, “Изогнутый” clamp is applied and the internal carotid artery is clamped. Thereafter, the common carotid artery is clamped by the second L-shaped clamp.
EFFECT: method provides effective cross-clamping of bifurcation arteries for performing carotid endarterectomy.
