FIELD: electroanalytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improvement of determination of optically active substance of drug "Propranolol" in aqueous solutions, urine and blood plasma. Disclosed is a chiral composite voltammetric sensor, which distinguishes analytical signals of propranolol enantiomers, made of glassy carbon with a working surface coated with an enantiodifferentiating modifier film, consisting of a mixture of chelate complexes of copper (II) bis-S-alaninate and copper (II) bis-S-phenylalaninate or zinc (II) aqua bis-S-alaninate and zinc (II) aqua bis-S-phenylalaninate in proportion 1:1 wt., with polyelectrolyte complex of chitosan-succinamide of chitosan, taken in ratio of 0.002 g of chelate complex per 2 ml of 0.005% solution of polyelectrolyte complex of chitosan-succinamide of chitosan.
EFFECT: possibility of determining content in aqueous solutions, urine and blood plasma of individual enantiomers of an optically active substance of the drug "Propranolol" by an electroanalytical method.
