FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an enantioselective voltammetric sensor for determining enantiomers of tryptophan based on a paste electrode of graphitized thermal soot Carboblack C, pre-modified with a chiral enantiomerically pure octahedral complex of cobalt (III) Λ-configuration with a chloride anion based on (R,R)-1,2-cyclohexanediamine and 3,5-di-tertbutylsalicylic aldehyde, taken at ratio of 1 weight part of complex per 100 weight parts of Carboblack C.
EFFECT: invention enables to determine content of individual enantiomers of an optically active substance in the biologically active additive "Tryptophan" in model solutions, in biological fluids and in tablet forms of various manufacturers using a voltammetric method.
