FIELD: veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: described is a method for diagnosing pathogenic microbiota of the gastrointestinal tract of farm animals, including such species as Clostridium perfringens, C. Difficile, C. ramosum, C. septicum. Method is carried out using a molecular biological approach of high-throughput sequencing on the basis of bacterial DNA recovery from the gastrointestinal tract of farm animals and the use of broad-specific primers on 16S rRNA gene fragment, which enables to fully assess the profile of pathogenic clostridia in the gastrointestinal tract.

EFFECT: invention enables to fully assess the profile of pathogenic clostridia in the gastrointestinal tract.
