FIELD: agriculture; veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture, veterinary science, particularly to a method for assessing the presence of toxin genes. Disclosed is a method of evaluating genes of Clostridium perfringens and Clostridioides difficile toxins in preserved bulky feeds for cattle, including: alpha-toxin cpa, beta-toxin cpb, epsilon toxin etx Clostridium perfringens and binary toxin cdtB, toxin A tcdA, toxin B tcdB Clostridioides difficile.
EFFECT: method employs primers specific to gene sites of the analysed toxins that enables selective amplification of the desired DNA fragments by polymerase chain reaction directly from total DNA of biological samples and detecting the fragments of toxins genes by gel electrophoresis.
