SUBSTANCE: described is a method for detecting Clostridium sporogenes, Clostridium perfringens and Clostridium sordellii, including preliminary enrichment on selective nutrient media and multiplex polymerase chain reaction in real time. Method is characterized by that detection of Clostridium sporogenes is carried out by amplification of gerKA gene section using developed primers and probe, detection of Clostridium perfringens is carried out by amplification of the plc gene section using the developed primers and a probe, detection of the Clostridium sordellii species is carried out by amplification of a portion of the NanS gene using the developed primers and a probe.

EFFECT: development of highly specific and sensitive method based on multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in real time, enabling simultaneous detection of Clostridium sporogenes, Clostridium perfringens and Clostridium sordellii in samples of pathological material from sick animals, as well as in mixed and pure bacterial cultures.
