FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: what is presented is a mutant strain Schizosaccharomyces pombe VKPM Y-4539 with deleted genes URA4, PDC1, PDC3 and PDC4 as a recipient for constructing lactic acid producers. Also disclosed are Schizosaccharomyces pombe yeast transformant and Schizosaccharomyces pombe yeast strain VKPM Y-5151, which are producers of D-lactic acid and having deleted genes PDC1, PDC3, PDC4 and introduced D-LDH gene of D-lactate dehydrogenase from Lactobacillus plantarum, transcription of which is under control of pHsp9 promoter, a D-LDH gene of D-lactate dehydrogenase from Lactobacillus delbrueckii, the transcription of which is under the control of the pADH promoter, and the uracil URA4 gene.

EFFECT: invention widens the range of recombinant recipient microorganisms for constructing lactic acid producers and widens the range of lactic acid producing microorganisms.
