FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: slide gate (10) for a metallurgical vessel, having outlet hole (1) for draining molten metal or slag, has gate body (3) fixed on vessel (2) and gate plate (6) sliding therein for opening and closing outlet hole (1). At that, gate (10) is equipped with only one sliding plate (6), which is made with possibility of pressing to the sliding surface of block (9, 32) of the cup of metallurgical vessel (2) located around outlet hole (1), with provision of movement along it without using fixed plate of gate (10, 30).
EFFECT: gate valve design is simplified and ease of manipulation during maintenance is ensured.
