FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a sugar-containing product, which involves mixing sugar crystals with a sweetening substance, adding water to the obtained mass and adding a food additive, mixing the mass and drying the ready product. First, a fraction with crystal size of 0.2–0.3 mm is sieved from sugar, then the sifted sugar crystals are mixed with a sweetening substance in the form of chicory syrup. Additionally, one introduces “Iodcasein” food additive. Obtained mixture is stirred and dried to a moisture content of 0.14%.
EFFECT: invention provides higher nutritional value of sugar.
