SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data processing devices and can be used to construct functional units for analysing properties of generators of pseudorandom sequences of binary numbers. Device comprises an external N-bit input bus, two decoders, two groups of (N-1)-th OR elements, a group of N AND elements with inverse input 101, 102, … 10N, two units for counting units, a first unit for detecting lower limit 5L and a second unit for detecting upper limit 5H, each of which contains a group of N detection units 61, 62, …, 6N, N groups 71, 72, … 71 of (N+1-I) OR elements with inverse input of 1st detection units 61, first group of (N-1)-th AND elements with inverse inputs 82, 83, …, 8N, second group of (N-1)-th AND elements with inverse input 92, 93, …, 9N, AND element 13, internal buses of lower BUL and upper BUH boundaries, initial digits of groups of the specified range BLH, lower BL and upper BH boundaries.
EFFECT: enabling detection of groups of single bits in a given range of bits, determination of the number of detected groups and their arrangement in data units.
