SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the delivery of a hemostatic agent, and in particular to a method of delivering a hemostatic agent into the body with ongoing intracavitary bleeding. A method of delivery of a hemostatic agent, during which an injector is installed in the cavity of the bleeding site to deliver the hemostatic agent to the area of bleeding, and an aseptic dressing is applied. A longitudinal incision of the skin and subcutaneous tissue is performed using a stylet, after which the stylet is removed and a catheter is installed, which is connected to the delivery device and a hemostatic gel is injected, after which the catheter is disconnected from the delivery device, and then the delivery device with the injector is sequentially removed and a catheter, after which the wound is sutured.

EFFECT: ensuring efficient and fast delivery of a local biodegradable hemostatic agent through a puncture of the abdominal wall. An additional technical result is simplifying the device and a method of delivery of a hemostatic agent, as well as increasing reliability.
