SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used in treating or diagnosing breast cancer. Disclosed is a lymphatic tracing method used in a disease associated with mastectomy, comprising administering a lymphatic tracer containing mitoxantrone hydrochloride, sodium chloride, acetic acid, sodium acetate and an antioxidant, which is sodium pyrosulphite or disodium edetate, wherein the lymphatic tracer is an injection which is administered subcutaneously or subserously in several places, and injection sites are located on mammary gland and/or in tissues and organs around mammary gland. Tracer contains said components in the following ratio: content of mitoxantrone hydrochloride is 2–10 mg/ml; sodium chloride content is 3–18 mg/ml; acetic acid content is 0.15–1 mg/ml; sodium acetate content is 0.03–0.15 mg/ml; content of sodium pyrosulphite is 0.05–0.3 mg/ml; edetate disodium content is 0.05–0.3 mg/ml. Concentration of mitoxantrone hydrochloride in the injected volume is 2–10 mg/ml, and the injection volume is 0.1–3.0 ml.

EFFECT: no local or systemic toxic and side effects are observed after local administration of the preparation; the preparation has good tolerance, efficacy and safety.
