SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cytidine derivative applicable in oncology of formula (I):

where R1 is C1-C10 alkyl, -(CH2)n-Ph, where n equals 1, Ph is phenyl, optionally substituted with a nitro group or a halogen atom; R2 is , where X1 is -(CH2)n-Ph, in which n equals 1; R3 is H or
where X3 is a substituted heterocyclic ring which is substituted with three halogen atoms; wherein said heterocyclic ring is pyridine; and X2 is -O-(CH2)n-, where n equals 1.
EFFECT: what is presented is a new cytidine derivative with reduced toxicity and pharmaceutical compositions based thereon, effective for treating a malignant solid tumor.
