FIELD: chemistry; petrochemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: catalyst for dehydrogenation of hydrocarbons in a stationary layer contains 17.5-21.0 wt.% of chromium III oxide and one or more promoters from the group Na2O, ZrO2, HfO2, TiO2 in amount of 0.6-3 wt.%. , which are deposited on a carrier – aluminium oxide. Aluminium oxide precursor is a composition of a mixture of aluminium oxide trihydrates and aluminium oxide monohydrate. Weight ratio of trihydrates of aluminium oxide: gibbsite, bayerite, nordstrandite is equal to 0.1-0.2:1:0.1-0.3. Catalyst is characterized by a specific surface area of 70-100 m2/g and a total pore volume of 0.28-0.39 cm3/g.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a catalyst with high catalytic activity, selectivity and stability due to reduced coke formation while maintaining mechanical strength.
