FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology and reconstructive surgery. A multispiral computed tomography of the paranasal sinuses is performed to detect the location of the incisal canal in relation to the curved crest of the nasal septum. If observing a curvature of the nasal septum at the level of the incisal canal, the bone frame of the premaxillary crest is thinned with a surgical bur. Further, a fracture is made in the area of the thinned bone with subsequent controlled medialization of the premaxillary crest.
EFFECT: method enables increasing the effectiveness of the surgical management of the nasal septum deviation at the incisal canal level, preventing the risk of incisal artery haemorrhage, nasal septum haematoma, maxillary incisor paraesthesia.
