SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapy and can be used to predict the probability of developing arterial hypertension after COVID-19 pneumonia. 3 months after the disease, the high-sensitivity CRP level (pg/ml) and the CRP level (pg/ml) are measured. Ankle-brachial index is calculated, patient's sex and presence of dyslipidemia or obesity in anamnesis are taken into account. A probability of developing arterial hypertension in 12 months is calculated by formula: %. If the calculated probability is 50% and more, a high risk is predicted, and if the value is less than 50%, a low risk of developing arterial hypertension is predicted.

EFFECT: method enables high-accuracy prediction of the risk of arterial hypertension in the remote period following COVID-19 pneumonia, reducing the number of newly diagnosed diseases, and developing cardiovascular complications by assessing a combination of the most significant values.
