FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for secondary processing of magnesia carbon bricks. Method consists in the fact that used magnesia carbonaceous brick containing aluminium-containing substance is brought into contact with water, after which, dehydration treatment of used magnesia carbon brick is carried out. Then used magnesia carbon brick, subjected to dehydration treatment, is finely ground for reuse as raw material for production refractory material. Temperature of the water brought into contact with the used magnesia carbon brick is 90 °C or lower.

EFFECT: invention provides higher corrosion resistance of refractory material made from used magnesia carbon brick, when reusing used magnesia carbon brick as raw material for production of refractory material.
