SUBSTANCE: invention relates to confectionary industry. Disclosed is a confectionery product comprising a chewy core without gelatine containing sucrose, glucose syrup, dextrin and gellan gum, layer containing amorphous candy material surrounding said chewy core. Amorphous caramel material contains sucrose, glucose syrup and dextrin. Ratio of sucrose/glucose syrup in the layer containing the amorphous caramel material is in range of 70:30 to 99:1 in terms of dry weight, and the ratio of sucrose/glucose syrup in the chewing core is in range of 70:30 to 99:1 in terms of dry weight. Also disclosed is a method of producing a confectionary product.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a product with low sugar content.
